How we get a tree off a house
Never just cut it. A trunk lying on a roof is under tension. A wrong cut lets it roll or spring and take the gutter, the soffit, and sometimes a wall with it. We rig the tree first. On most homes a crane or a bucket truck lifts the trunk straight up off the roof while a climber makes the cuts. On smaller trees we rope the sections and lower them to the yard. Once the weight is off, we tarp the opening so rain stays out until the roofer arrives.

Working with your insurance
We take photos of the tree and the damage before we start. When we’re done you get an itemized invoice that lists the crane, the removal, and the cleanup separately.
